Fables

The focus of our 7th Age play is Aesop's fables.  We have read many different fables in homeroom class, always noticing similarities: the characters are usually animals, one animal is sometimes mean and the other is nice or helpful, and a lesson or moral is learned at the end.  As a class we decided to write our own fables.  With our friendship buddy of the week we brainstormed about our characters and setting.  We decided the sequence of the fable and what the lesson would be at the end.  Then we created puppets of the characters, scenery, and props.  Finally we acted it out for our friends to see.  Take a look at the very creative fables made by your daughters:
