Happy Friday!

We're back in the swing of things!  We enjoyed visiting the Book Swap today.  We also did very well learning our spelling words during a short week.  Great job, girls!

A Look Ahead:
*Next week's spelling words are:  was, going, always, a lot, next, also, until, upon, scared, lived, stayed, and across

*Next week we will write a poem titled Wishes.  A brainstorming homework page came home today to complete.  Please return it on Monday.

*The Girls' Dance Assembly is scheduled for March 14th.  They have been practicing almost every day in gym class.  Have you seen any of it at home? :)  We are asking for each girl to bring in a pair of white, canvas sneakers that we will decorate with glitter, ribbons, and pom poms to be worn at the performance.  We would like all sneakers in by March 3rd.

*Next Tuesday we will attend the "March Reading Madness" Assembly.  We're excited to hear all the details from Mrs. Stone.

*Next Friday is a 12:30 dismissal.  Students attending ASC should bring a lunch.  Reading Teacher-Parent Conferences will be held from 1pm-5pm.  Conference sign-ups close tomorrow.  

*REMEMBER:  It is time again for another Family Fun Night.

2. Coffee mug painting for Believe Big which is an organization that helps families navigate through surviving cancer. More information is available at www.believebig.org.

3. Family Basketball games such as Knockout, 3-point shot competitions and foul-shot games.
